Jonathan Sasson


Jonathan Sasson works at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), the country’s largest administrative tribunal. He graduated from Dawson College in Liberal Arts and subsequently obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université de Montréal and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Université de Sherbrooke. At Université de Montréal, Jonathan was elected President and Head Delegate of the Faculty of Law's Model United Nations delegation. Jonathan was the Secretary-General of the Montreal United Nations Conference 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He also sits on its Executive Board. Jonathan led Dawson College’s successful bid to host Harvard World Model United Nations 2017 (WorldMUN) in Montreal, welcoming over 2500 participants to the conference. In October 2017, Jonathan launched Canadian Model United Nations (CMUN) connecting more than 60 Canadian conferences together with thousands of Canadian students from across the country.
